Happy Easter

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

My precious Family on Easter Sunday

Happy April Fools Day

      Its hard to believe its already April, which means only about a month left of school and then I'll be a SENIOR. Ahhhhh super scary, I'm not ready to be a real person!
      April 1st means April Fools Day. Of course my church back home just happens to be having a fundraiser for missions that involves pink flamingos. Naturally my first thought was I had to put these in my Nana's yard. One Sunday when I was home the first thing she told me when I sat down in church was I better not put any flamingos in her yard. Immediately my mother and I turned and looked at each other and I knew we were on the same page. The more money you pay the more flamingos you can have put in someone's yard. The recipient then has to pay to have them removed and the more you pay the faster they get removed. Clever, right?

This morning my grandparents woke up to 45+ (my dad lost count) pink flamingos in their yard. 

      Last night I got a phone call from by grandmother and in her serious voice the first thing she says is. "You're in trouble!". I had no clue what she was talking about because I hadn't talked to anyone in my family in a day or two. Then she says, "There are 40 or so flamingos in my yard!". Whoops on my part! Guess I got her real good for April Fools along with some help from my mom aka my partner in crime. 

     

Today also marks the Multiple Sclerosis Walk in Fayetteville. I wish I could have been there and my mom knows I wanted to be more than anything else. 

I encourage anyone to check out when an MS walk is coming near you and go out and support a great cause. My family and I along with so many others would appreciated it more than you know.
